Oct 20, 2014 (A Wilson) - The mineralization occupies a shear zone cutting through zones of vesiculated mafic metavolcanics and gabbro. The better grades of gold mineralization occur as pods or shoots associated with shearing and brecciation at the contact zones between the metavolcanics and gabbros and extending some distance into both the gabbros and metavolcanics.

Oct 20, 2014 (A Wilson) - Grab samples taken from the vein in the 1940's returned the following values: 1.44 oz/t Au over 2 ft,. 0.06 oz/t Au over 1 ft; 0.24 oz/t Au over 5 ft; 0.5 oz/t Au over 5 ft., 0.14 oz/t Au over 5 ft, 0.14 oz/t Au over 3 ft, 0.46 oz/t Au over 3.6 ft. Channel samples taken in 1981 returned values of 0.58 oz/t Au over 5.1 ft; 0.21 oz/t Au over 6.3 ft; 0.015 oz/t Au over 4.3 ft and 0.11 oz/t Au over 4.1 ft. Diamond drilling by Kingswood in 1981 made the following intersections: 0.115 oz/t Au over 2.5 ft; 0.06 oz/t Au over 8 ft; 0.04 oz/t Au over 10 ft; 0.03 oz/t Au over 19.7 ft. Assays from Kingswood DDH K-8-84 returned values of 0.186 oz/t Au over 2 ft, 0.052 oz/t Au over 2.5 ft and 0.219 oz/t Au over 2.3 ft. All assays were obtained from strongly veined mafic metavolcanics. The best assays obtained by Conquest Yellowknife in 1987 were: 0.059 oz/t Au over 1.5 ft; 0.086 oz/t Au over 1.5 ft,0.149 oz/t Au over 7.2 ft; 0.120 oz/t Au over 1.5 ft (all within massive mafic metavolcanics or felsic dikes).
