Point Location Description: showing southeast of beaver pond

Location Method: Based on Assessment

Access Description: The site is accessible by driving north along highway 651 from the junction with highway 101. Approximately 8 km north of the Hand (Sleith) Lake access point turn east along a forestry access road and drive for approximately 3.5 km. The occurrence lies approximately 500 m north of the forest access road.

1944: E. Gilbert - sampling, prospecting. 1944: Sylvanite Gold Mines Ltd. - property examination, sampling. 1984: Tundra Gold Mines Ltd. - airborne geophysics. 2007-2009: Chalice Diamond Corp. - airborne geophysics.

Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The main showing consists of a weakly carbonated shear zone lying about 0.25 miles north east of a granite body. The shear zone lies within altered mafic metavolcanic rocks.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The best assays to have been returned from the occurrence range from 0.80 to 2.40 dwt Au. Sylvanite Gold Mines was unable to duplicate these results.
