Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The vein occurs along the contact between the Murray Lake batholith to the north and the surrounding mafic metavolcanic rocks. The showing consists of a series of quartz veins and stringers, ranging between 0.25 in to 4 feet in width. The veins are predominantly bull white with minor pyrite and iron oxide. Pockets of galena and chalcopyrite mineralization occur, and are interpreted to occur in noses of S-folds. The veins are enclosed in a biotite-ampibolited schist.
