Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Supracrustal rocks in the immediate Goudreau-Lochalsh district consist of cycle 2 felsic to intermediate, pyroclastic metavolcanics which are capped by pyrite-bearing ironstone. To the north are pillowed , massive and schistose, mafic to intermediate metavolcanics and minor intercalations of mafic pyroclastic rocks of cycle 3. Several medium to coarse grained quartz dioritie to dioritie sills and/or dikes intrude all of the metavolcanic rocks. Along the northern margin of the supracrustal sequence, separating cycle 3 mafic metavolcanic rocks from the external granitoids, are thinly-bedded metasedimentary rocks with iminor intercalations of chert-magnetite ironstone.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The conductor lies in a low swampy area. The closest outcrops lie to the north and consist of sheared, intermediate metavolcanic rocks. Outcrops lying to the south of the conductor consist of slightly porphyritic indermediate metavolcanics.
Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Assays obtained from the sheared intermediate metavolcanic rocks north of the conductor returned values of 0.02% Cu and 0.05% Zn. A grab soil sample taken south of the conductor by Acme Oil and Gas returned values of 0.01 ppb Au and 0.03 ppb Zn. International Corona obtained slightly elevated Zn and Cu values during their soil survey, and slightly elevated Cu, Zn and Mo values from grab samples taken in the vicinity.
