Access Description: The site is accessible by air from the town of Wawa. Alternatively, the site is accessible by a long overland traverse from the west shore of Whitefish Lake.

Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The kimberlite is a micaceous, coarsely porphyritic kimberlite containing high concentrations of olivine and picroilmenite macrocrysts and a phlogopite+titanomagnetite+dolomite groundmass. Microxenoliths of mantle derivation have also been observed. Geochemically the kimberlite is rich in Mg, Fe-group elements, Ti and Nb.
