Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - An airborne geophysical anomaly crosses northern Macaskill and central Knicely townships from SE to NW. One outcrop of magnetite-hematite-chert iron formation was mapped on the edge of a swamp in central Knicely township. Mafic metavolcanic rocks in the vicinity are magnetite rich.
