Mineralization Comments

Jan 08, 2016 (A Wilson) - Pyrite and arsenopyrite are prominent within the vein system and the gold is intimately associated with the arsenopyrite. A grab sample taken by the OGS in 1975 returned a value of 0.01 oz./t Au, and 0.80 oz./t Au. Erie Canadian Gold Mines also had similar results from channel samples within the mineralized quartz-carbonate. These values ranged from 0.05 oz./t Au to 0.15 oz./t Au. Samples taken from the diamond drill core returned similar gold values. A grab sample collected by Algoma Steel in 1944 returned 0.21 oz./t Au. The best value obtained from drilling returned 0.086 oz./t Au over 44 ft. Assays from drilling completed by Noranda in 1986 returned assays up to 6.5 g/t Au over 3 m. Grab samples collected by Korba and Hutteri returned values up to 11.89 g/t Au.
