Access Description: The easiest access is by boat from the south end of Wawa Lake to the adit, a distance of approximately 4 km. Alternatively, drive east along highway 101 for approximately 5 km. The adit can be reached by walking north from highway 101 to the shoreline.
Pre-1935: WaWa Goldfields Ltd. - old adit on lakeshore deepened to 108 feet, tenching. 1988-1990: Golden Point Explorations Ltd. - mapping, trenching, stripping, sampling.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The quartz vein is hosted within the Jubilee tuffs which are a locally occurring andesitic to dacitic unit that is found adjacent to the Jubilee Lake stock. The Jubilee tuffs are believed to be stratigraphically located between the mafic to intermediate to intermedeiate to felsic metavolcanics in the McMurray township area.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The rocks overlying the adit consit of interbedded quartz-eye porphyry rholite tuffs, chloritic tuffs and greywacke. Bedding attitudes are variable. A second vein occurs to the south of the vein along which the adit was drivern. It strikes 53 degrees and dips 85 degrees to the north. The vein is located 180 feet south of the main vein.
