Lithology Comments

Jan 08, 2016 (A Wilson) - Mineralization is hosted within narrow sulphide-bearing shear zones in rhyolitic fragmental rocks. Drilling also indicated the presence of quartz porphyry units. No relationships between the quartz porphyry and the mineralization was observed. Random veinlets of quartz are present which may comprise 20% of the veins.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The best gold values were obtained in areas rich in arsenopyrite. Pyrite and arsenopyrite occur as disseminated grains in the carbonate. Visible gold was reported in 1936. The best assays returned from the trenches were by Erie Canadian and they were $2.40 Au over 2.6 m. Grab samples collected by Noranda returned values up to 11.64 g/t Au.
