Access Description: The site is accessible via the Eagle River Mine/Paint Lake road. Drive west along the road for approximately 11.5 km to a disused forestry road heading along the south shore of Paint Lake. Follow this road south for 4 km. The occurrence is located approximately 1 km southwest.



Exploration History

1979-81: Amax Minerals Exploration- airborne geophysics, ground geophysics, mapping, sampling, 1 ddh. 1983: International Corona Resources Limited - soil survey, sampling, airborne geophysics.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The best assay was from between 175 and 180 feet where a core sample returned 1100 ppm Zn, 0.2 ppm Ag, 183 ppm Cu, 99 ppm Ni, 44 ppm Co and 32 ppm Pb.
