Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - sulphide mineralization is found in a 4 metre wide quartz vein within w chlorite-carbonate shear at the contact between mafic metavolcanic rocks and a gabbro. The vein walls are strongly silicified and contain abundant calcite.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The vein contains 2-3% pyrite and minor chalcopyrite and sphalerite. The gold values average less than 100 pp but a single grab sample from a vein just to the east returned a value of 500 ppb Au.
