Location Method: Data Compilation

Access Description: The site is accessible via the Eagle River Mine/Paint Lake road. Drive west along the road for approximately 15.5 km to a disused forestry road following the south shore of the University River. The old drill collar is on the west side of the road.

1973-74: Umex Corporation Ltd. - ariborne geophysics, mapping, ground geophysics, 1 ddh (298 ft).

Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The occurrence is hosted within thintly laminated siltstones, mudstones and graphitic shales. The unit has been interpreted as iron formation by R. Sage. The sediments host narrow bands of pyrite.
