Access Description: The site is accessible via the Eagle River Mine/Paint Lake road. Drive west along the road for approximately 11.5 km to a disused forestry road heading along the south shore of Paint Lake. The University River Carbonate Zone and the soil anomaly lie approxmately 1.3 km north of the junction of the roads.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The Iron Lake Deformation Zone passes through this area. In this area it is known as the University River Carbonate Zone.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Anomalous gold values were obtained in soils and bedrock in the area. The best analyses obtained by Corona were 333 ppb Au in quartz diorite and 146 ppb au in sheared porphyry.
