Gabbro 2 Gabbro Sheared Near
Intermediate Crystal Tuff 3 Crystal Tuff Near
Schist-Unsubdivided 4 Sericite-Fuchsite-Carbonate Host

Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The occurrence is hosted by a highly fractured granodiorite intrusion occurring at the sheard contact between intermediate metavolcanic rocks and porphyryitic anorthositic gabbro. Quartz-carbonate veining occurs in both a ladder pattern and subparallel to the contacts of the intrusion. The anorthositic gabbro is essetnially altered to a plagioclase-sericite-fuchsite-carbonate-chlorite schist.
