Point Location Description: Stripped area between two swamps
Location Method: Field Visit with GPS
Access Description: The site is accessible via the Eagle River Mine/Paint Lake road. Drive west along the road for approximately 25.5 km to the powerline. Drive north along a forestry road for approximately 12 km to a brush dump at the end of the road. Follow a skidder trail north west for approximately 1.5 km to the stripped area on the edge of a swamp.
1998-2000: Charbonneau, Gerdes, Thibodeau - prospecting, stripping, channel sampling. 1999: Noront Resources - sampling.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The lithology consists of a mixture of mafic to intermediate tuffs and crystal tuffs and massive flows interbedded with massive quartz-feldspar porphyry sills. A sharply defined shear zone is mineralized with malachite, chalcopyrite and pyrite. Hematite alteration is prevalent.
