Access Description: The site is accessible via the Eagle River Mine/Paint Lake road. Drive west along the road for approximately 25.5 km to the powerline. Drive north along a forestry road for approximately 12 km.

Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - An extensional shear occurs at the contact between a sheared intermediate tuff and a gabbroic unit. The shear is pervasively ankeritized and silicified. Quartz-tourmaline veining is prominent within the shear.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Pyrite and chalcopyrite form up to 5% of the veins and shear system. The best gold value was 1.5 g/t Au from a grab sample in the shear zone.
