Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The NW trending veins sytem is 1-2 m wide and can be traced 75 m along strike. Mineraliztion is found in a bull-qhite quartz vein which exhibits vuggy open-space crystal growth and brecciated wall rock near the vein margins. The host rock is a foliated, weakly silicified, fine-grained wacke that is cut by a 1 m wide feldspar dike located 1 m east of the vein. A narrow, NW trending porphyritic diabase dike, located 2.5 m to the west, cuts the wackes and is subparallelto the quartz vein system.
