Geology Comments

Feb 21, 2012 (A Wilson) - All of the mineralized zones occur in the most highly strained portion of the Mishibishu Deformation Zone. The tectonic-stratigraphy strikes at 115 and dips at 45 degrees north. The Magnacon mineralized zone has a chlorite dominated structural hanging wall and a sericite dominated structural footwall. The Mishibishu Deformation zone is the largest of the deformation zones in the belt, measuring approximately 40 km in length and several hundred metres up to 1.5 km in width. The zone is located north of the Mishibishu Lake Stock and lies along the lithological contact of mafic metavolcanic rocks to the north (hanging wall) with clastic metasediments to the south (footwall) The Western MDZ is that portion of the deformation zone west of Macassa Creek. The deformation and alteration styles of the western MDZ are similar to the central MDZ, however, the intensity of strain and alteration decreases further to the west as the Pukaskwa Batholith is approached.

Mineralization Comments

Feb 21, 2012 (A Wilson) - Grab samples collected by Granges returned values ranging from 1.029 g/t Au to 6.25 g/t Au. The best drill intersections returned assays of 4.046 g/t Au over 0.6 m. Grab samples collected in the vicinity of the showing in 2004 returned assays ranging from 2.6 g/t Au to 11.4 g/t Au. Assays from the Windarra 2011 drilling program returned values of 2.69 g/t Au over 2.3m, and 0.77 g/t Au over 12.0 m including 1.30 g/t Au over 6 m in M11-20; 0.61 g/t Au over 6 m and 0.88 g/t Au over 8.2 m in M11-21; and 0.54 g/t Au over 20.9 m including 0.84 g/t Au over 8.7 m in M11-22.
