Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The Wilder Lake Complex is a 32 square kilometer intrusive body composed of metadiorite to metagabbro. The complex is younger than the surrounding supracrustal rocks and has been interpreted by Sage (1993) to be a late mafic intrusion that occurred before the emplacement of younger granitoid intrusions. The relationship between the complex and the external granitic bodies has not been established.
