Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The original discovery was made in a quartz vein at the margin between a felsic intrusive and the surrounding mafic metavolcanic rocks. Subsequent mapping has shown that there were several trenches sunk on the contact between mafic metavolcanic flows and a coarser-grained flow.
