Point Location Description: SE end of iron formation

Location Method: Data Compilation

Access Description: The closest access to the site is via Highway 519 (Dubreuilville highway) to a disused forestry road approximately 500 m east of the junction between highway 17 and 519. Drive east along the forestry road for approximately 4 km (Tea Lake area). The iron formation is located approximately 1 km north of the lake.

Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The iron formation is described as a narrow band of chert and fine grained quartz. The iron formation is likely to be a faulted extension of the Brant Lake iron formation located along the Dambrossio-Lalibert township boundary. It is interbedded with argillite and conglomerate.
