Lithology Comments

Jul 24, 2013 (A Wilson) - The showings are closed related to the margins of a NW trending diabase dike intruding the Harcourt Lake Stock. The No. 1 vein is the main host and ranges from 1.5 to 5 ft in width. The vein strikes N65W, dips 73º NE and has been traced for 850 feet along strike. The No. 2 Vein is located approximately 750 feet east of the No. 2 vein. The No. 2 vein occupies a silicified shear zone within a greenstone enclave within the syenite. The No. 2 vein strikes N36W and dips 77º SW. This vein ranges from 2 to 6 feet wide and has been traced 160 ft south of Mud Lake and 500 feet north of Mud Lake.
