Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The showing is underlain by mafic metavolcanics, metagabbro, quartz-sericite schist and minor granitic rocks. The granitic rocks are interpreted to be a sill of the main Wabatongushi Batholith. The showing lies within the Loch Lomond Deformation Zone. The Loch Lomond Deformation Zone is a zone of highly strained rocks which ranges from 800 - 1600 m wide and trends from northeast through east to south east. In the vicinity of the showing the LLDZ trends east-west. The mafic metavolcanics are altered to chlorite schist.

Jul 24, 2013 (A Wilson) - The prospect is underlain by mafic metaolcanic flows, metagabbro, quartz-sericite schist and minor granitic rocks. and quartz-sericite-chlorite schist. Diamond drilling in the area intersected graphitic sections within the schist. Up to 45% graphitic laminae were intersected.
