1932-40: W. N. Millar and W. H. Reed Jr. - trenching, stripping, property optioned by Frontenac Exploration. 1941-43: Noranda. -property optioned. 1980-85: Kingswood Explorations Ltd. - ground geophysics, mapping, soil survey, IP survey, airborne geophysics. 1987: Conquest Yellowknife Resources Ltd. - 1 ddh (506 ft).

Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - A north east trending quartz vein was found within gabbro near the margin of a granodiorite intrusion.




Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Grab samples collected in 1940 returned assays ranging from 0.02 oz/t Au over 2.7 ft to 2.66 oz/t Au over 1.5 ft. The single diamond drill hole completed by Conquest Yellowknife in 1987 drilled the IP anomaly near the quartz vein, but did not intersect the vein.
