Access Description: The site is located on the Goudreau-Lochalsh Road 2.3 kilometers east of the Kremzar Mine (Lochalsh Portal) turnoff.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The showing straddles the boundaries between the Northern and Southern Domains of the Goudreau Lake Deformation Zone. The GLDZ is up to 4.5 km in width and strikes in a gentle sigmoid-form for at least 30 km, subparallel to the stratigraphy and the regional foliation. In the immediate Goudreau-Lochalsh area, the GLDZ is coincident with a major contact between Cycle 2 and Cycle 3 volcanics. There is a strong structural control of the gold-bearing quartz veins systems within each of the 070-075 striking high-strain zones within the deformation zone. The showing lies more within the Southern Domain which is composed of a ductile-brittle zone of subparallel, dextral oblique-slip high strain zones developed within strongly altered and deformed, felsic to intermediate metavolcanic rocks.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The mafic to intermediate rocks consist of sheared massive flows and breccias intercalated with sulphide facies iron formation. The original description of the property notes the presence of dikes of intrusive acid porphyry. These porphyry dikes were not observed by the OGS.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - A shear-hosted white quartz vein within the iron formation containing minor pyrite and chalcopyrite reportedly assayed 0.322 oz Au/t, 1.0 oz Ag/t and 1.32% Cu. Gledhill (1927) reported fair gold assays from this vicinity. Grab samples collected by Patricia returned values up to 2.3 g/t Au. A drill hole north of Bearpaw Lake intersected 95.9 g/t Au over 1.4 m and a drill hole north of Pine Lake returned 9.9 g/t Au over 0.6 m.
