Access Description: The site is accessible by overland traverse south from the Goudreau Road or alternatively, the site is accessible by fixed wing aircraft from Wawa or Hawk Junction.

1985: International Corona - follow up lake sediment sampling, prospecting. 1986: Mascot Gold Mines - ground magnetometer and VLF-EM surveys, stripping, sampling.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The occurrence lies just south of the inferred southern boundary of the Goudreau Lake Deformation Zone - Southern Domain. The structure is composed of a 70 degree striking ductile-brittle zone of subparallel, dextral oblique-slip high-strain zones developed within strongly altered an deformed felsic to intermediate metavolcanic rocks.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The showing consists of a pyritic shear zone within felsic to intermediate tuffs. Chloritoid alteration is prevalent along the south shore of Morrison Lake.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - International Corona obtained anomalous gold values of 890 ppb au and 0.124 oz/t Au when prospecting along the south shore of the lake. An assay of 0.08 oz/t Au was obtained by Mascot Gold Mines from a pyritic shear zone in 1986.
