Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The showing occurs within a agabbro-diorite body adjacent to the Albert Lake Stock. The gabbro is carse-grained and weakly foliated with local epidote alteration. Blue opalescent quartz eyes are common. Local zones of shearing are characterized by rusty schistose rock with pervasive iron carbonate alteration. A prominent quartz-feldspar porphyry dike/intrusion is located to the north of the gabbro. All rock types are cross-cut by large NW-trending parallel diabase dikes. Numerous quartz veins are found within the sheared gabbroic body.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Mineralization is associated with a strongly deformed schistose gabbro. Mineralization is associated with a secondary phase of subvitreous quartz veins. Grab samples from veins within the gabbro returned values of 1.3 g/t Au and 1.34 g/t Au. Channel samples from the flat-lying vein in the centre of the showing returned values of 2.19 g/t Au over 0.75 m. Several other samples returned values between 0.75 g/t Au and 2.0 g/t Au over 0.5 m. Assays from drill hole PR-04-13 returned 3.14 g/t au over 0.5m and 3.78 g/t Au over 0.47 m.
