Lithology Comments

Sep 25, 2016 (A Wilson) - Mineralization is hosted at the sheared contact between massive to pillowed mafic metavolcanic rocks and gabbro. Iron carbonate and chlorite alteration is common locally with narrow quartz veins. The shear zones are characterized by highly deformed rocks, quartz-veining and chlorite-carbonate-sericite alteration. The shear zones have a predominantly NNW trend.

Mineralization Comments

Sep 25, 2016 (A Wilson) - Grab samples from float in the area returned values up to 1140 g/t Au. Additional grab samples of vein material assayed up to 166.61 g/t Au, chip samples assayed 22.29 g/t Au over 2 m. Channel samples collected in 2000 returned assays of 10.23 g/t Au over 0.5 m, 4.60 g/t Au over 1.5 m, 9.41 g/t Au over 1.5 m, 6.89 g/t Au over 1.5 m and 4.64 g/t Au over 1.5 m. Diamond drilling by Patricia in 2000 intersected 6.12 g/t Au over 1 m. Assays from a second diamond drilling program completed in 2004 returned values ranging from 0.004 g/t Au to 2.231 g/t Au over1.23m. A 0.47 m section from DDH PR-04-14 returned an assay of 3.778 g/t Au.
