Exploration History

1962: C. von Klein discovered a number of Cu-Ni and Cu-Pb-Zn showings in the area east and southeast of Lunny Lake. McIntyre Porcupine Mines Ltd. optioned the property and drilled 2 DDH totalling 42.6 m. 1967-69: Caravelle Mines Ltd. drilled 23 DDH totalling 3343 m. 1984: Noranda flew an airborne electromagnetic survey. 1976: Noranda Exploration Company conducted electromagnetic and magnetometer ground surveys as well as a geological survey. 1987: Noranda conducted geological mapping and sampling, a soil geochemistry survey, and VLF and magnetometer geophysical surveys. 2007: B. Fowler conduced a ground mag geophysical survey. 2009: B. Fowler conducted prospecting and sampling. 2011: Entourage Metals Ltd. conducted prospecting and a soil geochemical survey.
