Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Disseminated sulphides are described within a 40 ft section of medium-grained, weakly schistose metagabbro. Core from the top portion of the drill hole is described as being schistose amphibolite. With depth, the gabbro becomes progressively more altered. Mineralized float was observed in a creek adjacent to the gabbro. Later mapping by the OGS has identified ultramafic flows in the area.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Elevated Cu, Ni values were returned from approximately 40 feet of core. The assays returned values ranging from 0.021% Ni to 0.316% Ni and ).02% Cu to 0.22% Cu. Chip samples taken from a trench on the portage between Dayohessarah and Hambleton lakes returned an assay of 0.34%.
