Lithology Comments

May 23, 2014 (A Wilson) - The showing occurs within a narrow shear zone hosted by a quartz porphyry sill or dike. The porphyry is roughly 6 m wide and lies parallel to a granite porphyry outcropping roughly 9 m to the north. The porphyry intrudes chlorite schist. The quartz vein is described as consisting of narrow lenses from 50 to 150 feet in length.

Mineralization Comments

May 23, 2014 (A Wilson) - The best chip samples collected by Erie Canadian in 1937 returned assays of $5.20 Au over 1 ft 5 inches; $15.60 Au over 1 ft 9 inches and $4.00 Au over 2 ft. Grab samples collected by the OGS in 1972 returned assays of 0.02 oz/t Au and 0.04 oz/t Au.
