Lithology Comments

May 23, 2014 (A Wilson) - The occurrence is described as consisting of a narrow, wavy vein cutting across the foliation of a hornblende-chlorite schist. The schist is well mineralized with pyrite for over a foot on each side of the vein and the pyrite is concentrated in bands paralleling the strike of the vein. The vein strikes 055° to 060° and has been traced for 30m. It occurs within and is slightly oblique to, honblende-chlorite schists s that strike 070° and dip vertically.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Grab samples collected by Sylvanite Gold Mines returned the following assays: 1.20 dwt over 12 inches; 0.60 dwt over 12 inches; 2.80 dwt; 1.60 dwt; 0.80 dwt over 12 inches. Of the 36 channel samples collected by Hollinger, only 3 ran over 0.02 oz/t Au; and of 24 grab samples, only 6 returned over 0.02 oz/t Au.
