May 23, 2014 (A Wilson) - The occurrence consists of sulphide-rich quartz veins and lenses occupying a shear zone which follows the contact of a felsic dike and chloritic schists. The mineralized areas are distributed erratically along the shear zone. The 1.8 m thick, vertically-dipping shear zone strikes 080° and has been traced for 45 m.

May 23, 2014 (A Wilson) - Pyrite is granular and concentrated largely in bands, sometimes making up to 50% of the vein. Sphalerite is also prominent and follows a roughly banded pattern. Galena is locally prominent in the vein. No assays are reported. Chip samples collected from the vein in 1946 returned values ranging from $ 0.80 Au over 12 inches, to $1.60 Au over 12 inches. Grab samples collected in 1946 assayed $1.60 Au and $2.80 Au. Grab samples collected by Freewest Resources in 2001 returned 12.84 g/t Au, 25.0 g/t Ag, 4580 ppm Zn, 5070 ppm Pb.
