Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The occurrence is hosted by strongly to intensely silicified mafic metavolcanic flows adjacent to an altered, weakly mineralized feldspar porphyry dike. The alteration zones are narrow (<1 m), irregular in outline, contain variable amounts of disseminated pyrite and are locally base-metal rich.

Jan 26, 2016 (A Wilson) - Grab samples returned values up to 7.39 g/t Au, 2.96% Zn and 1.19% Pb. Although strongly altered, pyritic, silicified zones were cut in most Lizar township holes, best intercepts included 1.31 glt Au over 1.0 meters in hole LIZ07 -006 and 1.67 g/t Au over 0.8 meters in LIZ07-009. Anomalous gold values were encountered in all holes. On the Nameigos township No.7 VMS target, an interesting-looking chloritic stockwork holds promise for the future, but the best intercept, a 5.8 meter interval grading 1596 ppm Cu, 996 ppm Zn in LIZ07-015, again fell short of expectations.
