Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The zone is a broad, folded, anastomosing, sulphide-rich zone of strong to intense silicification, weak to moderate sericitization, localized biotitization and rare green mica. The zone occurs within moderated to strongly fractured/brecciated magnetite gabbro. The mineralization is locally crosscut by narrow shears, discrete faults, and a variety of narrow diorite, gabbro and mafic lamprophyre dikes.

Mineralization Comments

May 23, 2014 (A Wilson) - Grab samples taken by Freewest and Teck-Cominco returned values of 14.93 g/t Au and 28 g/t Au respectively. Grab samples from the stripped area graded up to 4.06 g/t Au. The best channel samples graded 810 ppb Au. All grab and channel samples taken from the mineralized and altered zones were anomalous to strongly anomalous in Au (10 to 270 ppb Au), whereas the weakly to moderately altered gabbroic host rocks typically contained less than 5 ppb Au.
