Dec 18, 2018 (Therese Pettigrew) - Mineralization is associated with a shear zone located in syenite-pegmatite areas up to 1 m by 1 m. Radiometric readings are up to 11 times background. Tests indicated radioactivity is due entirely to thorium (Robertson and Gould, 1983). A sample sent to the GSC from D.E. Smith showed 0.33R (0.33% U3O8 equivalent) (Lang, 1952).
