Geology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (B Nelson) - Copper and molybdenum mineralization occurs as disseminations and veinlets in (hornblende) granite tonalite, usually in association with quartz veining. Several northwest trending lineaments are observed in the area. Several of these 'faults' appear to have copper and molybdenum mineralization associated with them. The mineralization is classed as a calc-alkalic porphyry deposit. (Resident Geologist's Files, Schreiber Hemlo District, Thunder Bay).
