1967: M. Carter (OGS Staff) identified the pyrite showing while mapping the area. 1988: Noranda Exploration Company carried out mapping, sampling, and an EM/magnetic survey. 2004: R. Wahl conducted prospecting, mapping and sampling. 2005: Phoenix Matachewan Mines conducted linecutting, prospecting, mapping, sampling, and ground magnetic and VLF-EM surveys.
