Access Description: The occurrence is located about 27 km northeast of Dickison Lake and about 1200 m southwest of Chorus Lake. The property may be reached via the Kimberly Clark access road from Geraldton or Terrace Bay.

1970: Geological mapping. The occurrence was discovered during this work.

Geology Comments

Oct 06, 2014 (D McKay) - Carter shows the area as being underlain by metasedimentary migmatite and grey biotite granite. He describes the occurrence as follows: This occurrence is at a roadside outcrop about 1 mile south-southwest of the Chorus Lake bridge on the west side of the road. It consists of traces of molybdenite in granite-pegmatite bands 1 inch to 3 inches wide in metasedimentary migmatite.

Dec 07, 2005 (D McKay) - The occurrence consists of traces of molybdenite in granite-pegmatite bands 1 inch to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.6 cm) wide in metasedimentary migmatite.
