Access Description: About KM 32 (mile 20) on the Kimberly-Clark Aguasabon Road, on the east side of a small lake alongside the road.



Exploration History

1959: Burrex ’59 Syndicate carried out ground self-potential and dip-needle magnetite surveys and prospecting. 1981: Rio Tinto Canadian Exploration (Riocanex) carried out prospecting. 1985: Golden Range Resources carried out mapping, prospecting, soil sampling, and magnetic and EM surveys. 2004: D. Johnson conducted prospecting, stripping and sampling.

Sep 27, 2019 (Therese Pettigrew) - Samples collected in the general area of the showing were described as fine grey rock with chalky white veins up to 0.5 mm wide, rust stained, with 5-10% very fine-grained sulphides (Assessment report 200000002350).

Sep 27, 2019 (Therese Pettigrew) - A number of east-trending anomalies were found with associated pyrite, pyrrhotite, graphite, and molybdenite mineralization (Carter, 1982; Thunder Bay RGP Mineral Deposit files).
