Mineralization Comments

Jul 25, 2019 (Therese Pettigrew) - Several zones of quartz stringers were intersected in the drill holes bored in 1935. The most notable of these is localized within and along the north contact of the middle iron formation band on claim T.B. 10515. This zone, from two intersections, appears to strike about N70W. Samples from one hole indicated a grade of 0.06 oz/t Au (2.06 g/t Au) over a core length of 1.2 m; those from the other hole, which was collared 61 m to the west, indicated a grade of 0.18 oz/t Au (6.17 g/t Au) over a core length of 1.2 m (Horwood and Pye, 1952). DDH 98-1 assayed 3.12 g/t Au over 0.3 m from an iron formation with quartz stringers, and 1.64 g/t Au over 0.82 m from an iron formation streaked with pyrite. DDH 98-2 assayed 1.31 g/t Au over 0.3 m from an irregular quartz-pyrite-arsenopyrite stringer in an iron formation, 1.68 g/t over 0.88 m in quartz stringers with heavy pyrite and arsenopyrite contained in an iron formation, and 1.09 g/t Au over 0.6 m from a quartz stringer with pyrite in an iron formation. DDH 98-3 assayed 5.9 g/t Au over 0.67 m from quartz stringers in an iron formation (Assessment file 42E10NW2004).
