Mineralization Comments

Oct 25, 2018 (Therese Pettigrew) - 1972 drilling by Jones and Siikens returned 1.24 g/t Au in a 0.7m drill section of a pyrite and quartz metavolcanic breccia unit. 1992: Stripping and sampling program on the Calhet occurrence yielded 1.56 g/t Au. In 1989, Placer Dome Inc. completed a 5 hole diamond-drilling program, totaling 884 m, on the Archie Lake showing, adjacent to the Alto Ventures’ Archie Lake occurrence. The holes intersected sheared, highly silicified and carbonatized mafic metavolcanic rocks and quartz veins containing up to 40% disseminated pyrite, arsenopyrite and chalcopyrite. No assay results were reported. The Archie Lake occurrence is an altered, mineralized zone approximately 15 by 25 m in size. The exposure consists of ankerite-altered, quartz-flooded, intermediate metavolcanic rocks. Mineralized zones contain between 2-30% very fine-grained arsenopyrite and coarser, subhedral pyrite in sheared and brecciated metavolcanic rocks. Grab samples collected by OGS staff in 2013 returned assays ranging from 0.62 to 24.57 gpt Au (White et al., 2014).

Notes: The Archie Lake occurrence is an altered, mineralized zone approximately 15 by 25 m in size situated along a north-facing hill striking 070 °. The exposure consists of iron carbonate (ankerite)-altered, quartz-flooded, intermediate metavolcanic rocks. Mineralized zones contain between 2 and 30% very-fine grained arsenopyrite and coarser, subhedral pyrite in sheared and brecciated metavolcanic rocks. Assays of grab samples collected by Resident Geologist’s staff ranged from 0.62 to 24.57 g/t Au.
