Lithology Comments

Apr 02, 2014 (B Nelson) - The Banque-or Prospect is underlain by a unit of mafic to intermediate metavolcanics consisting of massive to foliated pillowed metavolcanics and pillow-breccia, amygdaloidal and vesicular metavolcanics, flow breccia, feldspar porphyry, variolitic and spherulitic rocks. Intruding the metavolcanics is a porphyritic granodiorite to diorite, possibly the east portion of the Paglamin Lake Stock. Gold mineralization is associated with the contact of the two main lithologies. Irregular quartz stringers in the hornblende schist and diorite are mineralized with native gold, pyrite and chalcopyrite. The quartz veinlets have not been traced for any distance along strike (Evans, 1942). Gold is associated with a silicified and sheared zone displaying potassium and epidote alteration. In contact with the shear zone is a foliated mafic tuff hosting pyrite, pyrrhotite and extensive biotite (an alteration product). Gold values are also associated with this unit. Copper and gold values (minor molybdenum) were noted in diamond-drill logs of Exploration Banque-or Incorporated and exchange Mine Holdings Limited.

Mineralization Comments

Apr 02, 2014 (A Wilson) - The best assay from the Getty drilling was 4.00 g Au/t over a core length of 1.40 m with a section of 8.65 g Au/t over 0.50 m for hole KL-84-21 that was drilled in the Five Trench Area. Drilling showed good continuity along strike of the tuff horizons which were traced for over 250 m laterally and to 60 m in vertical depth. Tight folding has locally deformed the tuffs. Copper and gold values (minor molybdenum) were noted in diamond-drill logs of Exploration Banque-Or Incorporated and Exchange Mine Holdings Limited.

Apr 02, 2014 (B Nelson) - A mineralized zone 200 m x 6 m x 150 m (deep) was defined by Getty Minerals. Assays up to 2.34 oz/ton Au over 10 feet were realized by Exchange Mining.

Alteration Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (B Nelson) - Gold is associated with a silicified and sheared zone displaying potassium and epidote alteration. In contact with the shear zone is a foliated mafic tuff hosting pyrite, pyrrhotite and extensive biotite (an alteration product).
