Access Description: The site is accessible by driving south from Kapuskasing along the Swanson Road for approximately 30 km. The drill hole was completed in the swampy area located on the east side of the road.



Exploration History

1977-78: Mattagami Lake Mines Ltd. - ground geophysics, 1 ddh (356 ft). 1988: McKinnon Prospecting - airborne geophysics.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Elevated zinc values were obtained from interbedded andesite and siltstone lying below an oxide-facies iron formation.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The highest assays obtained from drill core were: 3150 ppm Zn and 542 ppm Cu over 4.8 ft in interbedded intermediate metavolcanics and argillite lying close to the lower contact with iron formation.
