Location Method: Based on Assessment

Access Description: The site is accessible by driving south for approximately 42 km from Highway 11 along the Swanson Road to an east trending bush road. Drive east approximately 3 km and then south along a winter road for 1.5 km. The drill site is on the north side of a small pond.



Exploration History

1977-1978: Mattagami Lake Mines Ltd. - ground geophysics, 1 ddh (600 ft). 1988: McKinnon Prospecting - airborne geophysics.

Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Elevated gold and copper values are returned from a chalcopyrite bearing quartz vein within interbedded diorite and meta-andesite. Locally, the andesitic units are metamorphosed to a garnetiferous chlorite schist intruded by narrow sulphide-bearing stringers.
