Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The iron formation is described as consisting of coarsely banded chert and magnetite-rich layers. Up to 30% garnets were observed locally in the iron formation. Silicate facies iron formation underlies the oxide facies and does not return anomalous base metal values. The hanging wall schists contain patchy pyrrhotite and pyrite.
