Lithology Comments

Apr 30, 2014 (A Wilson) - Mafic metavolcanics and amphibolite dominates the geology of the area. Massive to foliated mafic metavolcanics dominate the geology. Mafic metavolcanic breccias, pillow breccias, and pillowed mafic metavolcanic rocks also were observed. To the south, the mafic metavolcanics are metamorphosed to amphibolite grade. Mineralization is hosted within chert and sulphide-facies iron formation.
