Apr 30, 2014 (A Wilson) - The occurrence consists of a muscovite potassic pegmatite dike (12-50 cm wide) in pillow metavolcanic rocks with calc-silicate pods. The pillows are flattened and lenticular and are metamorposed to amphibolite facies. Biotite, tourmaline and garnet occur in pillow selvages. The potassic pegmatite is abundant with green muscovite, K-feldspar, quartz and minor molybdenite and small miarolitic cavities lined with muscovite and quartz. The pegmatite dikes range in width from 1 to 5 m an consist of garnet-muscovite potassic pegmatite and garnet-muscovite fine-grained leucogranite.

Apr 30, 2014 (A Wilson) - The garnet is almandine with 27 to32% spessartine. The degree of chemical evolution in granitic pegmatites situated in the southern part of Pelletier Township is generally low, although fertile pegmatitic granite units were locally recognized. Elevated Rb (1229 ppm) and Cs (40 ppm) was recovered from OGS sample 02-FWB-62
