Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - The site is described as showing characteristics of both a treed fen and an advanced apudified forest. The average thickness of the peat is less than 1 m.
Apr 14, 2014 (A Wilson) - The site is considered to have a very low potential for peat exploitation. The site is estimated to contain 320,000 cubic metres of peat.
