Access Description: The site is accessible via highway 581 north from highway 11. Drive norh and east along highway 581 for 9 km to the intersection with an east trending haul road. Follow this road to the NE shore of Audrey Lake.



Exploration History

1964-66: International Nickel Co. - airborne geophysics, 3 ddh (279 ft). 1988: McKinnon Prospecting - airborne geophysics.

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Elevated PGE, Ni and Cu values are found in hornblende-sulphide rich schists interbedded with metasediments.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Diamond drilling intersected 1.3 ft of sulphide-rich gneiss that returned an assay of 0.13% Ni, 0.02% Cu. A 1.3 ft section of sulphide rich material in the same drill hole returned an assay of 0.07% Ni, 0.04% Cu, <0.001% Pd and 0.003% Pt.
